Finless Part 3

Alright this will be the last time I  talk about the finless board for a while. After surfing  on the beachie out the front on Friday the new modifications seemed to do the trick. The board could hold a line and even drive a bottom turn around sections, which was so much fun. It was really fast and very challenging to ride from a standard board which is exactly what I was after. We then decided to add a super hard roving edge on the rails to give the board some extra bite. On Saturday my mate Po and I took the boards ( a couple of CT's, A Thomas Bexon Alaia and the Finless) to Noosa for a test run with the new mods. Got some great waves through the Boiling Pot section of the wave on the finless and a couple of fun smaller waves down towards Johnson's. After a bit of reflection of the session I decided to add on one last small roving channel on the toe side for a little extra bite for bottom turns. We bolted up through horrible weather on Sunday to test the board again, getting some great waves. Yew it works!!
